Welcome to the Department of Accounting and Finance at Kiriri Women’s University of Science and Technology. It is my honor and privilege to serve as the Head of Department and to work with a dedicated team of faculty and staff committed to providing high-quality education and fostering an environment of academic excellence.

Extra Curriculum Activities

The department has an Accounting and Finance club where students participate in many business-oriented activities such as guest speaker events, career development workshops, case studies and simulations, community service projects, professional networking events, stock trading competitions, volunteer opportunities, finance literacy and education among others.

Upcoming New Programmes

The department is in the process of lodging the following new progammes:

• Master of Business Administration with specialization in Accounting, Finance and Supply Chain Management
• Bachelor of Procurement and Supplies Chain Management
• Bachelor of Economics and Finance

Each of these programs is crafted to meet the evolving needs of the industry and to prepare our graduates for rewarding careers in their chosen fields. I bring to this role a strong academic background and extensive experience in higher education. I hold a PhD in Human Resource Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), an MSc in Human Resource Management from JKUAT, a BSc in Biochemistry from Kenyatta University (KU), a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kenya Methodist University (KEMU), and a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM). With 13 years of teaching experience, I am dedicated to fostering a learning environment that encourages critical thinking, innovation, and excellence.
