Dr. Henry Kegoro holds a PhD degree in Business Administration (Marketing Management) as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Marketing Management) both from the University of Nairobi. Equally, He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing Management) from Maseno University. Dr. Henry Kegoro is a certified Virtuality Reality Technology Scholar from Ningbo Polytechnique in China. He is a certified TOT Trainer, Digital Marketer and Brand Architect as well as a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Paragon. Further, He is a Member of various Professional Bodies such as the Global Society of Researchers, Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK), Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and Member of Association of African Universities (AAU)

We are pleased to inform you that the University has made significant milestones in the scientific space. The University has continued to expand its research budget annually to promote quality research, education and training. The research models of the University are embedded in Kenya’s Vision 2030. To achieve this, the University has adopted an integrated approach that brings together researchers from diverse fields. The cardinal mandate of the Directorate of Research is to formulate, implement and validate policies not limited to; Administration of Research & Innovation, Capacity Building, Innovations, Research Infrastructure, Ethics Review and Quality Assurance for Research. The Directorate of Research appreciates that “Research” is the solution to societal problems such as gender disparity, inflation, global warming, drug abuse, terrorism and political instability.

Since its inception, the University has successfully organized and executed multiple Faculty Research Seminars and 5 Interdisciplinary International Research Conferences. Papers presented at these International Conferences have been published in peer-reviewed journals as well as in the digital repository of the University. The published papers are examined by interdisciplinary editorial boards constituted by highly qualified and experienced staff. The originality of all the papers published is the philosophy of the University. Through the combined strength of our faculties and schools, we have established five integrative research clusters, namely; Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science and Education. Apart from the aforementioned research clusters, the university has continued to invest in cutting-edge e-resources to facilitates blended mode of learning among the students. The State-of-the-art library is fully equipped with the latest instructional materials from well-established and world-renowned authors. The digital repository of the university is encrypted in such away that only authorized users can access e-resources.

The university is at the forefront of championing annual research activities ranging from Faculty Research Seminars as well as Interdisciplinary International Research Conferences. The research forums not only provide avenues of exchanging scientific ideas but also a platform where scholars challenge their own ignorance, fear and procrastination. The annual research events organized by the university are intended to enrich the academic staff’s insights as well as quality teaching, education and research. The annual research events organized by the University have attracted the attention of local and global scholars. Papers presented in the annual research forums organized by the University have been consistently ranked top in the webometric systems. The University has continued to enhance strategic partnerships with local and international organizations.

The University is committed in establishing research grant consortium composed of highly experienced scholars as well as industry experts. The University not only intends to attract local research grants but also global research grants. The integrated scientific models of our University remain exceptional in the local and global research forums. The University is looking forward to launching the 5th Interdisciplinary International Research Conference before December 2024.
